About the Brian Dox Barefoot Charity Golf Tournament

Ovid, NY -  Now in its 9th year, the Barefoot Charity Tournament is an 18-hole Captain's Choice Golf event full of good times, great people, quality golf, and giving back. It’s always a fun and unique opportunity to surround yourself with friends, fun, and supporting those in the local community.  The tournamnet is held in memory of Brian Dox who left this world, but left a lasting impact on all who knew him.  Brian believed in assisting and supporting any and everyone who could use a helping hand.  Today, the Charity is able to give (4) renewable annual scholarships to graduates of South Seneca High School and financial gifts to members of Seneca County in need of assistance.

The Charity is fortunate to have many loyal local businesses participate in varying degrees ranging from Tournament and Hole Sponsors, Donations to the Raffles, and Financial Contributions. 

Lastly, the success and strength of the event is due in large part to the generous and giving volunteers.   Advanced Video Group is proud to partner with the Brian Dox Barefoot Charity in all of its 9 consecutive events.  The ideals that Brian had can be found rooted in AVG's culture today.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, June 13th, at the Bonavista State Park Golf Course in Ovid, NY.  Golf will begin at 9:00AM followed by dinner, awards, raffle and the 50/50 drawing.
